1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Meridian Research Journal (operated at https://ask-meridian.uk). By accessing or using our website, services, interactive derivations, or developer API integrations, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the site immediately.

2. Scholarly Nature & arXiv Fair Use

Meridian Research Journal publishes academic commentaries, mathematical derivations, interactive simulations, and voice syntheses based on open-access preprints published on arXiv.org (Cornell University) under physics, mathematics, and computer science classifications.

• Scholarly Attribution: Every translation prominently references the original arXiv identifier, author names, and canonical publication link.
• Intellectual Property of Preprints: Copyright in original arXiv preprints remains vested in their respective authors and publishing institutions. Meridian does not claim ownership over the underlying scientific discoveries.
• Original Synthesis & Vector Graphics: Original editorial commentary, mathematical breakdown matrices, and procedural SVG banner diagrams generated by Meridian Research Journal are protected under intellectual property laws and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

3. Acceptable Use Policy

Users, automated agents, and API consumers agree not to:

• Conduct automated scraping, rate-limit bypassing, or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against our servers.
• Interfere with or tamper with WebAuthn / Passkey cryptographic handshakes or authorization challenges.
• Misrepresent association with Meridian Research Journal or impersonate its editorial board.
• Reverse-engineer or exploit proprietary server microservices for unauthorized commercial redistribution.

4. Developer Integrations & X (Twitter) API Terms

• Designated Callback URI: All OAuth 1.0a and OAuth 2.0 user authentication flows terminate strictly at https://ask-meridian.uk/auth/callback.
• Authorized Account Operations: Automated status updates and article threads are published exclusively to authorized channels (e.g., @ask_meridian) upon verified trigger conditions.
• Compliance with Developer Agreement: We strictly adhere to X's Developer Agreement, Developer Policy, and content redistribution limits. No user data accessed via the X API is stored longer than necessary or sold to data brokers.

5. WebAuthn Passkeys & Editorial Accounts

Administrative access to the editorial pipeline and article generation consoles utilizes FIDO2 / WebAuthn passkey authentication.

• Editorial users are responsible for maintaining physical custody of their passkey-enabled devices.
• Meridian Research Journal reserves the right to revoke session tokens or registration challenges if suspicious geographic roaming or replay attacks are detected.

6. Advertising & Commercial Disclaimers

Meridian Research Journal participates in Google AdSense (ca-pub-7734562716191044). Advertisements are served automatically by Google according to its content network policies. We do not endorse the products, services, or claims advertised within third-party promotional units.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE CONTENT AND SERVICES ON MERIDIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

While we strive for extreme mathematical precision and rigor, Meridian Research Journal does not warrant that scientific derivations, numerical simulations, or LaTeX formulas are error-free or suitable for critical engineering applications without independent verification.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MERIDIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL, ITS EDITORS, AND OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THIS PUBLICATION.
